Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday, thanks for stopping by today! With Valentine's Day on Monday, I gave the Bloggers Challenge Team the theme of LOVE this week, if you'd like to play along, just link your blog to my post, so your readers know what challenge you are entering. Then use the Link Tool at the bottom of my post to add your entry, so we can see what you've created! Many thanks to those who joined us last week, it's always great to see what you're creating!
While I didn't create a typical Love themed card, I opted more toward a love/friendship type of card for my Girlfriends - think of this as a virtual card from me to you! I'm also combining my card with the Stampotique Designers Challenge #24 - as the theme this week is Love/Valentine (see lots of love going around in Blogland this week). This weeks SDC allows you to use ANY stamps, so why not play along there too for your chance to win a $30 gift certificate for stamps at the Stampotique store.
Stampotique's February Guest Designer and Bloggers Challenge Member Gerrie Johnnic posted this card that inspired me to try this fabby BG technique by Dyan Reaveley. While I don't have the sprays Dyan used, I substituted them with Ranger Color Wash Sprays - just remember when selecting your colors to choose colors that won't look muddy.
