Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday - Faux Designer Paper

Happy Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday! It's time for another KSS Challenge! This month Makiko is the challenge hostess and her challenge is to use your stamps to make your own custom Designer Paper. We're thrilled that so many of you have been playing in the KSS Monthly Challenges, but remember to be entered into the monthly drawing you need to use only Kitchen Sink Stamps on your projects.  You can read the KSS Challenge Rules here.  Don't forget you can save 10% on all your Kitchen Sink Stamps purchases, simply click here then enter LISA10KSS at checkout.

I used the Faux Designer Paper Technique from the December/January '08 TJNL to create my card.  I used Rangers new Distress Inks in Wild Honey and Crushed Olive to add the color to my white card stock.  The Kitchen Sink Stamps used on my panel are: 3 Step Pansy, Simple Sentiments, 3 Step Letter From the Past, Friends of the Moon.  If you're wondering what image I used from Friends of the Moon, I used the grouping of little dots, they make great fillers for open spaces!

To create the fancy edge on the black panel under my sentiment, I simply inserted my Black card stock into the Border Punch as shown, then added the Tiny Fasteners.  To finish my card, I lightly spritzed with Crushed Shells Glimmer Mist.

Details:
