Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday, and what a happy day it is! My BFF sent me some of the new Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland paper! I just *love* this paper and searched high and low for someone who had it in stock, of course I got a restock notice last night! But I'm so happy to add this paper to my stash, it goes so well with the Artistic Outpost Wonderland Collage plate!
I gave the bloggers challenge players the following sketch to use this week. I still had out some of my supplies from yesterdays Play Date Cafe Post, so of course I incorporated the colors into today's post! By adding a flower embellishment to my card, I can play along with the Paper Bag Studios challenge.
The background panel uses the Wonderland Classifieds paper, I used a Spellbinders Rectangle Die to remove the center portion, so not to waste the paper, then layered it on a Black panel, then back over the original piece to correspond with the sketch. I did add a bunch of Distress inks to the paper to alter it a bit. The image is stamped in Black Archival then I added the Antiqued Glimmers Technique - you can't see it on the large photo above, but you can see it on the snippet at the top of my post. (click photos to enlarge)
The image is colored with various Distress Inks and an H20 Brush. I added a Rolled Flower created from a beautiful piece of purple RicRac (also from my BFF), some Tulle and a Pearl Rhinestone Stick Pin.
Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost
Ink - Black Archival, Various Distress Inks
Card Stock - Black, Olive, Eggplant, Watercolor
Other - H20 Brush, Tulle, RicRack, Dimensionals, Glimmer Mist, Stick Pin, Ink Blending Tool, Craft Sheet, Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland
