Confirmation Card

One of my good customers (Donna) was looking for some ideas to make French Flair into a girls confirmation card. The image is stamped in Pixie Pink on white cardstock, then layered on silver and then a Pixie Pink base card. Then I white embossed the image on vellum cardstock and used that as a wrap around my base card. The vellum is held onto the card using SU's Elizabeth Fibers. Just a note on the vellum wrap - it is the same size as my base card (I wanted the pink edge to show when the vellum wrapped around).

Hi Lisa!

My demonstrator, Dawn Griffith, sent me over to you with a link on her blog.

Very nice cards. Can't wait to see more creations and of course, blog candy, wink! wink!

Just by chance are you related to a Patty Somerville? I remember going to high school with her.

I followed the link in Dawn's blog to you. She's totally correct, you are a very talented stamper. I really love this invite. It's reverent, graceful, sophisticated--wow! I can relate to the mom as I am making invites for my 14-yr-old son's confirmation. Finding invites for a confirmation, not a first communion, for a adolescent rather than a child is a challenge. I struggled with my daughter's and my son is even more of a challenge. I think I have it whipped though and hope to totally resolve the issue today as I plan my final layout!
