Praying for a Cure - Our Daily Bread Designs

Our Daily Bread Designsrecently released the "Praying For A Cure" stamp set. Today myself and some of the other ODBD Team Members are doing a mini blog hop showcasing this beautiful set. You'll want to be sure to visit all the designers blogs for your chance to win one of three $20 ODBD Gift Certificates.  The hop will run 8am EDT Oct. 26th til 8pm EDT Oct. 27th.

Before I share my card, I also wanted to let you know that Our Daily Bread Designs is one of many sponsors for the Splitcoaststampers second annual Hope You Can Cling to Card Drive to benefit those affected by breast cancer. Make sure to check out the Challenge Forums and play along, there are many prizes to be won, including Five $50 gift certificates to the ODBD store!

For inspiration I used Card Patterns Sketch #138, rotating it fit my needs.  The sentiment is stamped in Chocolate on the Pink panel then embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder.  I changed the Oval to a Circle, layering some Pattern Paper onto a Chocolate Spellbinders Circle, then a Chocolate Scallop Circle, cutting off the edge slightly.  To embellish my card, I stamped the Butterfly from the Praying for a Cure set in Brown Stazon on Shrink Plastic and melted them in my Melt Pot, coloring the back with a Pink Copic Marker.  I added a flourish gem from Zva Creative, a Pink Button and Maya Road stick pin along with a floral spray to finish off my embellishments.

The new "Praying for a Cure" set has been "bundled" with the previously released "Hope" set.  Purchase both sets and save 15%!  Click here to order. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Praying for a Cure set sold during October will be donated to the American Cancer Society

Thanks so much for stopping by! For more inspiration using this set and a chance to win 1 of 3 ODBD $20 Gift Certificates, be sure to visit the other designers blogs
