Bloggers Challenge

Welcome to another Friday Bloggers Challenge! This weeks challenge is a color challenge - use Red, Black and Kiwi on your creations. You can add white or vanilla if needed. Want to play along? Just leave a link to your creation here on this post or if uploading to SCS, use keyword BC83, I'd love to see what you create!

On to my card...I'm so glad To Have and to Hold has come off the dormant list, I find once a set hits this list, I put it aside and don't pick it up. It's such an elegant set that doesn't need much to make a beautiful card. I went for the less is more approach today - using little color and accessories.

My image is stamped on watercolor paper in black, then colored with red and black markers. I wanted the bouquet to have some detail and dimension, to do this I punched some flowers from red card stock using my BoHo Blossom Punch, then separated the layers of my card stock so the flowers I formed weren't so bulky. To do this simply scrunch your punched piece in your hand, or use a bone folder to loosen the fibers, this will make it easier to peel the layers. Then simply fold the flower in half then half again. I only added a touch of Kiwi, as the greenery on my bouquet, again I did this using my BoHo Blossom Punch.

Wonderful! - I love how you used the color scheme for a Wedding Card (I wouldn't have thought of that) but just used a hint of the Kiwi on your fabulous flower. Perfect!
