Memories are Stitched in Love - Bloggers Challenge

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday! Thanks to those who played along with the Button Challenge, sorry I haven't had a chance to come around and leave comments this week!  The challenge this week is A Stitch in Time (open to your interpretation).

My card this week features stamps, Custom Dies and pattern paper from Our Daily Bread Designs.

To created my quilt panels, I stamped the "stitches" from the Sewing stamp set onto pieces of the ODBD Soulful Stitches Paper Collection, then cut them to size and sponged the edges.  I adhered the stamped pieces to a piece of card stock, then embossed them to add additional texture and "rivets".  To embellish the top panel, I die cut the doily from Espresso card stock using the ODBD Custom Doily Dies and added a tag stamping the stitches from the Sewing set and the sentiment from the Stitches stamp set on Vanilla card stock, then die cut the panel using the ODBD Custom Recipe Card and Tags Dies.  To further embellish the top panel, I added Zva Creative Crystal Gems to the Doily and tied on Vintage Brown Seam Binding and added buttons and twine.  To embellish the bottom panel, I stamped the buttons from the Quilts stamp set, colored them with Staedtler Karat Aquarell Watercolor pencils and applied DecoArt Media Liquid Glass for added shine.
