RCC86 Halloween and Fall - Witch Hat Topiary and Skull Card

Welcome to another challenge from the Ribbon Carousel Blog!  This months RCC Challenge theme is Fall or Halloween, be sure to continue reading below on how you can play along and enter to win a Ribbon Carousel!  Inspiration for the challenge is posted every Tuesday Ribbon Carousel Blog!

I opted to go the Halloween route with my projects for the challenge, as much as I LOVE Fall, I wanted to use the new Catacomb Manor SVG Kit from SVG Cuts.  I also wanted to use up some of my Halloween pattern papers, so I shrunk my files by 50% and now they are the perfect size for place settings!

Don't you just LOVE the details!  I did have to do a little recycling for my project.  I painted a Shish-ka-bob Skewer with Black Soot Distress Paint for the Witches Topiary.  I added STAEDTLER Clay around the bottom half of the skewer so that it would stand inside the pot, then filled the pot with some Lava Rocks from my yard.  To embellish the hat, I tied some Web Ribbon into a double bow and added a "naked button" that I painted Orange and tied some twine through the holes.  The Skull on the card was distressed with Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, then popped up on dimensionals with Zva Creative Red Crystal Gems added for eyes.

Details:
Card Stock - Black, Vanilla
Ink - Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Other - SVG Cuts Catacomb Manor SVG Kit, Silhouette Cameo, Zva Creative Crystal Gems, Dimensionals, Basic Grey Eerie Collection, Button, Twine, Rocks, STAEDTLER Clay, Black Soot Distress Paint, Shish-ka-bob Skewer, Web Ribbon, Scor-Tape

To play along, simply create a project with the theme of Celebrations and be sure to include some ribbon or twine! You have until October 31st  to add your creation to this post at the Ribbon Carousel Blog.  One Random Challenge Participant will receive one of these wonderful Ribbon Carousels!  The winner will be announced on November 4th , on the Ribbon Carousel Blog!
