New from Artistic Outpost - Chalk Wisdom and Chalk it Up!

This month Artistic Outpost is releasing two fabulous Chalkboard Style stamp sets that coordinate wonderfully with each other and also look fabulous with many of the other plates Artistic Outpost has to offer!

Chalk it Up  features frames, collage elements, and lovely chalky bits, while Chalkboard Wisdom  features plenty of inspiration with the hand lettered style set of sentiments.

I created the top card with a left over piece of Mono Printing I did on the Gelli Arts plate using Acrylic Paints and the Pinwheel One Stencil from Just A Trace.  I used stamps from the following Artistic Outpost plates - Think and Wonder, Whimsical Melange, Typography and  Chalkboard Wisdom.  The sweet children are stamped on Prima pattern paper, then adhered in place with Gel Medium.  I outlined all pieces with a STAEDTLER Pigment Fineliner to add depth.

Mixed Media Card Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost Think and Wonder, Whimsical Melange, Typography and  Chalkboard Wisdom
Card Stock - Black, Pumpkin, Mixed Media Paper
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Other - Ink Blending Tool, Gesso, Staedtler Pigment Fineliner, SAMJ, Prima pattern paper, Antique Linen Distress Stain, Gelli Arts Plate, Just a Trace Pinwheel One Stencil

My Mixed Media Card fits the Stampotique SDC114 3 Circles Challenge

To create the bottom card, I White embossed the quote from Chalkboard Wisdom on Black card stock, then added the cut out frame from the Chalk it Up plate.  The "friends" are from the Paperboy plate stamped in Black Archival on Prima pattern paper and sponged in Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  I added a bit of Ranger Antique Linen Distress Paint to the Black card stock for a wiped off chalkboard feel.  To embellish I added some Mini Roses from Zva Creative and an Olive Swirl that was cut using Our Daily Bread Designs Fancy Foliage Die.

Bottom Card Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost Paperboy, Chalkboard Wisdom, Chalk it Up
Ink - Versamark, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, Ranger Coffee Archival
Card Stock - Kraft, Black, Caramel
Other - Ink Blending Tool, Our Daily Bread Designs Fancy Foliage Die, Zva Creative Mini Roses, White Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Big Shot, Prima pattern paper, Antique Linen Distress Stain

Such a gorgeous vintage look to these. Great minds think alike on the brother and sister clearly... and your chalkboard background with the girls against it looks so cool in the frame.
