Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday! Thanks to those who played along with last weeks Back to School Challenge. This weeks Challenge theme is Oh Baby!
I had a few technical difficulties creating my card for this week - as my Big Shot decided to crank one final time before I actually finished my project! Thankfully my neighbor is also a stamper, so I borrowed her machine to finish!
The beautiful die behind my image is a sneak peek at the Custom Decorative Corners Die being release by Our Daily Bread Designs on September 1st. Instead of using it as a corner die, I die cut/embossed four of the corners from Vanilla card stock and overlapped them in the center to create a large die to be used as a background. The sweet girl is from Our Daily Bread Designs Precious Girl stamp set, stamped on Vanilla card stock, colored with STAEDTLER Mars Graphic Markers and paper pieced with Graphic 45 pattern paper. After coloring and piecing the image, I sponged the edges and adhere her to an Vanilla Oval panel then onto an Espresso Oval and to the base card with dimensionals. To embellish, I added the swirl flourish and leaves from Our Daily Bread Designs Fancy Foliage Die, cut from Olive Card stock, along with Zva Creative Mini Roses, Brown Seam Binding and a stamped tag that was die cut using Our Daily Bread Designs Recipe Card and Tags Die.
Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Precious Girl
Card Stock - Espresso, Vanilla
Ink - Ranger Coffee Archival/Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Other - Staedtler Mars Graphic Markers, Ink Blending Tool, Spellbinders Oval Dies, Zva Creative Mini Roses, Our Daily Bread Designs Decorative Corners Die, Our Daily Bread Designs Fancy Foliage Die, Our Daily Bread Designs Recipe Card and Tags Die, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Graphic 45 pattern paper, Big Shot
