They Say It's your Birthday

Today, myself and some of the other PCP Super Nova's are celebrating Susanna Boyd's birthday with a Virtual Birthday Celebration Hop!

Inspired by this sketch on the Authentique Blog, I used papers from Authentique's Genuine Collection along with the Pondering Child stamp from La Blanche.  I picked up the stamp at the North Coast Creations Booth when I was at the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo in Milwaukee last month.  Currently the NCC Website is not up and running, but you can order the stamp by calling 1-877-451-4909.

The image is stamped in Ranger Black Archival on La Blanche Specialty paper, then colored with Ranger Distress Inks using Blending Nibs.  Once the image was colored, I cut the panel, so the image was slightly "out of the box", then sponged  Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink on the edges, blending towards the center of the stamped panel.  To embellish I added some Zva Creative Crystal Flourishes/Mini Roses, and  Eggshell Vintage Seam Binding that was tied into a Double Bow.
