Back to School with Artistic Outpost

Welcome to the Artistic Outpost Design Team Blog Hop! Each month on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, the fabulous designers at Artistic Outpost showcase projects created with various Artistic Outpost Plates, this months DT hop focus is Back to School.

My card uses the sweet image from the Artistic Outpost Favorite Book plate along with the pencil image from Secretary Pool.

Stamps - Artistic Outpost Favorite Book, Secretary Pool

I paper pieced the girl with a scrap of My Minds Eye Honey pattern paper, added a little bit of STAEDTLER marker for her skin, then sponged the edges with Ranger Gathered Twigs ink.  The panel was cut so a portion of her dress would remain out of the box.  To embellish I added a mini composition book that I created a number of years ago, that's been sitting in my stash, a stamped pencil from the Secretary Plate, some Prima Doodle Deux Charm Rose Flowers, some Ivory Vintage Seam Binding, and a stick pin.
