It's time for another challenge over at the Stampotique Designers Blog - Nellie is the hostess and is challenging you to create a tag. This two week challenge is a non-Stampotique Stamps Challenge, but if you have them, we'd love to see them!
I don't create a lot of tag art, so this definitely was a challenge for me! Since my beloved Distress Stains were still out on my desk, I decided to used them to create the background. I stamped Minkygirl, Spider Wings and the Crown on Eclipse Paper, then placed them over the images I stamped in Black Archival on the Tag, then set out to create the BG using the Distress Stains and the Watercolor Distress Technique. Once dry, I removed the mask, and colored the image with Distress Inks, added Glossy Accents and Rock Candy Stickles to embellish the images. To add to the Background I stamped the Honeycomb in Ranger Black Archival, the Hexagon in Gesso, and added the Diva sentiment (which I cut up to fit) in Black.
You have until 10/25 to play along with the Tag Time Challenge for your chance to win a $30 Stampotique Gift Certificate, click here for more details!
