Glass Etching with the eCraft

This week the eCraft Design Team is using Leaves or Pinecones along with Square 1 Printable Fabric Adhesive.  I'm finding so many wonderful ways to incorporate the Square 1 product with the eCraft, this week I created a Glass Etched Plate.

I just love how this turned out!  The hard part is getting a good photo of the glass without a reflection of me!

I used leaf images from eCraft Central, along with SCAL 3.  I opened the program and added a 7” x 7” Circle (or circle the diameter of your plate), added the Leaf images, rotating and resizing to fit within my circle.  Placed the Square 1 Adhesive Fabric on card stock stabilizer, and cut the images.  Remove the leaves (save for a future project) from the circle and place onto plate.

Apply Etching Cream, wait 15 minutes for cream to react, then rinse off and remove Fabric Adhesive.

Here's a few more photos

That's beautiful, Lisa. The etchings are so delicate yet still visible. I'll have to try that out!
