Happy Haunting - Bloggers Challenge and some Exciting News!

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday!  Thanks so much to those who played along with last weeks Fall Bloom Challenge, it's always wonderful to stop by your blogs to see what you've created for the challenge!  With Halloween in just a few short days, this weeks Bloggers Challenge Theme is Happy Haunting, feel free to interpret as you wish.

I'm always looking for ways to package up treats and what not, and created a few things to share.  The first two projects use templates from Creations by AR, the last project is a Glass Treat Jar.  To make things move along quickly, I used the eCraft for cutting the templates and Adhesive.

Who wouldn't want to receive a yummy cupcake for Halloween!  Here I used images from the Artistic Outpost Halloween Treats set along with the Cupcake Basket Template.

This project also features a stamp from the Halloween Treats Set, using the Jack-o-Box Template

For this project I printed out some Digi Paper on Square 1 Printable Adhesive and cut the letters with the eCraft.  They Spider is cut from Black Vinyl and adhered to the glass jar.  Click here for printable directions.

If you'd like to play along with this weeks Bloggers Challenge, please link back to this post on your blog and mention you created your card for the Bloggers Challenge Happy Haunting Challenge. Please add your link using the Link Tool below, your link should be a direct link to your Bloggers Challenge Post, use your name as the Title. Please do not link to cards that were created prior to the challenge date. Entries not linking properly, or backlinked will be removed.  If you have the captcha enabled on your blog, please consider turning it off, as it makes it so much easier to leave comments.

Before I go, I wanted to share some exciting news with you!  Zva Creative just announced their 2011/2012 Design Team, and I'm super excited to say I've made their team!  I'm honored to be part of such a talented team!  You can click the Zva Creative Logo on my sidebar to visit the other designers blogs, our first team blog hop is scheduled for November 28th!

On a personal note, please keep my mom in your prayers for a speedy recovery, as she's having knee replacement surgery today!  Thank you!

Have a great weekend!

Hi Lisa, been thinking of your mom. I have a family member who had knee replacement surgery a couple of years ago, so I know about the discomfort that comes with it. I hope your talented mom has a speedy recovery.

What a fun basket you made for that "witchy" cupcake and Mr. Jack-o-Box looks great! That jar looks awesome! Love you work, Lisa!

Wow! So many things to mention:

Congratulations on becoming a member of the incredible Zva Creative Design Team! I wish I had more of their fun bling items! You will be a wonderful addition to the team, Lisa.

I am praying for your mother and her knee surgery. I know so many people with knee issues this month! I know that He will be in that operation room, and will be showing the doctors how to work, as if He were conducting a symphony. He will be sure the doctors are all awake and alert, and that their fingers work perfectly with every stitch. May her recovery go well and quickly.

Your crafts are beautiful. I love the cupcake holder. Do you live in a town that is small enough that people know each other, and still accept baked goods or individual unwrapped candy? I haven't lived anywhere like that in 30 or more years! Of course, if you have them for special people...that is different. I am just curious, if there are still places in this country that are still safe like that?

He IS Able!
