My Everything - Bloggers Challenge Sketch

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday, this weeks challenge is a sketch!  I know a lot of crafters look forward to sketches as a jumping point, so I hope you'll play along!  Thanks to those who joined us for last weeks challenge, it's always fun to stop by and see what you've created.

I went with a 5-1/4" x  5-1/4" base card using papers from MME Lost and Found Collection, and enlarged my circle to fit the sentiment from Verses (RR1005-E). Still not sure if this will be the card I give to DH for our Anniversary next week, may go back to the drawing board for a bit more of a masculine card!

Details:
Stamps - Verses Rubber Stamps My Everything
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
Card Stock - Black, Vanilla, Crushed Curry
Other - Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Spellbinders Circle Dies, Big Shot, Cheery Lynn Designs Exotic Butterflies Die, Recollections Gems, Ink Blending Tool, My Minds Eye Lost and Found Pattern Paper

Here's this weeks sketch

This is beautiful. I say give this to your husband. The sentiment is so beautiful and the yellows make it not especially girly. I think he'll appreciate the sentiment and overlook the non-masculine nature of the card. Besides, who of his guy friends is going to see it anyway?

Love the verse on this and the papers you paired with it. I couldn't find any flourish stuff for the life of me...so I had to order some LOL!

Wow, some people are really fast! Lisa this card and sentiment are perfect for an anniversary! If you are thinking it is not masculine enough, you could remove the butterfly and add a "time" type embellishment! Have a great weekend!

This is gorgeous, and I don't think it is overly feminine either, I know my hubby would be super happy with it!
