Wrapped around the Heart - CR84FN35

Welcome to another wonderful CR84FN color challenge, thanks so much to those of you who played along last weeks, it's always wonderful to see how everyone interprets the colors.  This weeks colors are Lavender, Celery and Gray.

I had some wonderful papers from Memory Box with these colors and cut them into strips for a quilt card to go along with some new sets being released on Monday from Our Daily Bread Designs.

After cutting all my strips, I zig zag stitched them with Chocolate Thread using my sewing machine.  Yep, I dug out the machine, can you believe it!  I had a small machine just for cards, but tossed it last year, as it never really worked well, and was collecting dust.  The Rocking Chair is stamps in Going Grey, then I added the sentiment in Chocolate, added a bit more stitching to that stamped panel.  To finish my card, I added some Seam Binding, a metal Heart embellishment and Stick Pin.

Here's this weeks color inspiration, we'd love for you to play along with us at CR84FN, you can find all the details here on how to enter. If you upload to any online gallery please use keyword CR84FN354 so we can find your creations!

What a beauty Lisa. Love the stick pin and heart charm. I have heard other people say that about the small machines for cards. I have 2 sewing machines and they both are having tension issues. :)
