Tye Dye Chic Embellie - Mom's Page

What better way to celebrate NSD, than share a scrapbook page.  I know what you're thinking, I've never seen her scrapbook!  Well, for the most part you are right, I don't scrap, it takes me twenty times as long to create a scrap page, than it does to create and actual card!  But I just had to try out the Tye Dye Chic Embellishment Technique that can be found in the newest CD from the Technique Junkie Newsletter, called Stampbooking: The Art of using Rubber Stamps in your Scrapbooks.  With tomorrow being Mother's Day I created a page using this sweet image of my mom.  Isn't she cute!

The Stampbooking CD features a whopping 75 tutorials for using rubber stamps to create titles, borders, frames, albums, embellishments, and so much more. The CD is a collaboration between TJ Publisher/Owner Patricia Huntoon and TJ Design Team Member Jane Bosi, both seasoned Stampbookers. All tutorials on this CD are in step-by-step pictorial format -- easily printable to 8-1/2" x 11" paper.  The CD works on both PCs and Macs with Adobe Reader. Each tutorial includes at least two layouts using the technique.

Pre order your CD below using the PayPal Button, or go to THIS PAGE to order from The Technique Junkie site. Please note that all of the CDs will be mailed the first week of June.

This is beautiful, Lisa. Your mom will surely love it!

And, yes, scrapbooking takes me a lot longer, too. But, to me it serves a different purpose...it tells a story. I am putting my son's life all in scrapbooks. Including art from 3rd grade. I am up to about age 5...he is almost 22! LOL But, hopefully one day I will finish that and my wedding album...12 years in the making! LOL...but so beautiful! They will tell stories that I one day won't be able to answer for my grand-children. I think if we scrapbooked on a regular basis, with all of the tools we have in our art things, we would learn how to work faster, too. 20 years ago, they didn't have as much, if any, self adhesive paper, and foil and such. Just something to think about...it's not for everyone.

He IS Able,
Traci S.
