Freedom

Today we honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.  Thank you for our freedom!

To create my card, I combined images from Artistic Outpost's Hero and She-roes plates.  The Kraft panel is embossed with the Cuttlebug Stars Folder.  To add color to the flag I used markers, then added Antique Linen Distress Ink to the edges.  The little solider boy was colored using markers, the background sponged with Antique Linen.  To add softness to my coloring, I lightly spritzed with water, then smooshed onto a Non Stick Craft Mat, to blend the lines.  This image, the Flag and sentiment were crinkled a bit and sponged again to have an aged look.

Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost Hero, She-roes
Ink - Ranger Coffee Archival, Markers, Antique Linen Distress Ink
Card Stock - Kraft, Red, Vanilla, Chocolate
Other- Big Shot, Ink Blending Tool, Cuttlebug Stars Folder, Karen Foster Pattern Paper, Non Stick Craft Mat, Spritz Bottle, Distress Tool, Heat Gun, Dimentionals, Glue Dot, Star

Challenges - Make it Monday with the Kraft Journal, Simon Says Stamp and Show

Enjoy your day!
