I'm so glad you stopped by! Kitchen Sink Stamps is one of the sponsors for the Color Throwdown 100th challenge and the Kitchen Sink Stamps Design Team is playing along! Here's the color swatch, be sure to play along, there's some awesome prizes!
I started out by pulling the ink and card stock colors out, luckily for my I had one piece of Baja Breeze left in my stash. Then went in search of a sketch to incorporate with the colors, and found this wonderful sketch at JUGS. I rotated the sketch, and moved my sentiment to where the brads are on the sketch. Then I pulled out my Kitchen Sink Stamps, in search of the perfect images for the circle portion of the sketch.
Here's what I came up with using Kitchen Sink Stamps Multi Step Lilacs, 3 Step Hydrangea, and Simple Sentiment sets, along with the Color Throwdown colors (adding Chocolate and White as neutrals) and the JUGS Sketch.
Here's what I came up with using Kitchen Sink Stamps Multi Step Lilacs, 3 Step Hydrangea, and Simple Sentiment sets, along with the Color Throwdown colors (adding Chocolate and White as neutrals) and the JUGS Sketch.
The flowers are stamped using the colors from the Color Throwdown. From Left to Right - Regal Rose Hydrangea, Baja Breeze Lilac, Real Red Hydrangea, the Stems and Leaves are in Olive and Celery (see color recipe below).
For visual stampers, or those new to Kitchen Sink Stamps, click here for a video using the Multi Step Lilac set, and here for a video using the 3 Step Hydrangea.
I stamped the sentiment on the Baja Breeze panel, then used the Texture Fades folders to emboss my panels, adding highlights to the Regal Rose embossed panel. I added the butterflies to help balance out the stamped image.
