This weeks Compendium of Curiosities Challenge is Shabby Chic, I've did this technique at a CHA Class I took with Tim a few years back, so I was familiar with what to do. I did morph the technique a bit, to give the beautiful Inspire Butterfly Collage from Memory Box a little pop.
Once the technique was finished, I added color to the butterfly using an H20 Brush and Creative Inspirations Paints. The background panel is embossed using a Texture Fades Folder, I then went over the raised area with a Light Blue Paint Dauber and some Coco Ink, for a more distressed look.
Stamps - Memory Box
Ink - Embossing Ink, Cocoa
Card Stock - Orange, Black, Grunge Paper
Other - H20 Brush, Creative Inspirations Paint, Heat Gun, Embossing Powder, Adirondack Paint Daubers - Black, Light Blue, Big Shot, Texture Fades Folder, Sponge Dauber
