Bloggers Challenge - Color Challenge

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday!  This week I gave the challenge players the following colors: Brown/Pink/White, one of my favorite color combinations!  I used SC263 as the inspiration for my sketch, using the new Multi Step Cup of Warm Comfort from Kitchen Sink Stamps.  Don't you just love that sentiment!

I cut a frame with Spellbinders Labels 3, so I was left with just the small border.  I stamped the images as follows: #4 Memento Rich Cocoa, #3 Memento Desert Sand, #1 Memento Angel Wings. #4 Memento Rich Cocoa.  One of the things I noticed when stamping out of order Dark to Light, is that my dark color seems to fade a bit, so by stamping the dark image again, it brings life back to the image.  I masked the image then stamped the Candy Stick #3 Memento Rhubarb, #2 Memento Angel Wings, #1 Memento Angel Wings.  I repeated the same color combination on the cookies, after I cut them out and sponged the edges, I went over the sprinkles with a Clear Gel pen for added dimension.

The Pink panel was embossed with the Damask CuttleBug Folder, then added highlights to the raised area with a sponge dauber.

Details:

Okay, so where do I belly up to the bar for one of these? Definitely looks good enough to drink -- love the framing! And the sentiment is definitely right up my alley....give me chocolate anytime, anyplace for any reason!
