Trick or Treat - Marker Watercolor

Happy Sunday! It was nice to see so many stampers who came out the the Rubber Stamp Flea Market yesterday. Thanks for all your kindness and support, I was was glad to see some of my well loved retired rubber head to new homes! I'll be updating my list of retired stamps and posting a link here on my blog next week.

I did finally order a replacement bulb for my OTT Lite - it should be here next week. In the meantime, I'll be posting some creations I had saved to my computer before my bulb burnt out.

Today's card features the cute Trick or Treat Kids from The Rubber Cafe. They are stamped in Black Archival on Watercolor paper, then colored using the Marker Watercoloring Technique. (Gotta LOVE that technique!). The clouds behind my image were created by sponging ink around a punched scallop.

Details:
Stamps - The Rubber Cafe
Ink - Black Archival, Markers, Blue
Card Stock, Black, Pumpkin, Watercolor
Other - Sponge Dauber, SAMJ, Aquapainter, Scallop Punch

DH and boys left yesterday for Redneck Weekend, they even took the dog with! I enjoyed a nice dinner with a GF and was looking forward to a creative day in my stamp room. DH just called it's been raining there, the tent fell down, and everything is mud pit! Wonder if they remembered to take some pictures. They're now on their way home. Hope you all enjoy the holiday tomorrow!
