Old Grist Mill - Coming Soon!

Artistic Outpost will be releasing three new plates in September, and I'm thrilled to give you a peek at one of the projects I created using images from Old Grist Mill. These plates are some of my favorites, just wait to you see the full plates! Inspired by nature, simple surroundings, and the people that make up those surroundings, the next three releases will make you want to sit down, take a deep breath, and CREATE.

I love to alter things, and always have plenty of frames on hand to transform into a new piece of artwork, so taking a cue from last weeks CuttleBug Challenge , I used one of the new Artistic Outpost images to create this framed piece. (Click to enlarge)

The image is stamped in Black Archival and colored using the Marker Watercoloring Technique. I tore and distressed the edges of the panels, then layered them onto a piece of Basic Grey Perhaps DSP that I had run through my Big Shot using the Distressed Stripes CuttleBug Folder.
