Basket of Mums

Happy Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday, thanks for stopping by! Inspired by this weeks Retro Sketches Challenge and the new Farmhouse Paper (Sugar Hill Collection) I just received from the Ribbon Carousel, I created my card using the Basket of Mums from Kitchen Sink Stamps Multi Step Harvest set.

To embellish I added some Walnut Brown Vintage Seam Binding, and an Olive Button that was tied with Natural Jute Twine.  The Sentiment is from the Multi Step Harvest set, stamped in Chocolate.

Yee Haw! Cowgirl

Happy Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday, thanks for stopping by! I've got another Kitchen Sink Stamps Video to share with you today using the Multi Step Cowboy Boots.  Both my boys have been wearing cowboy boots for years, so I was thrilled with Maria introduced the Cowboy Themed stamp at KSS.  While I personally don't own a pair like these, I know someone who always wanted Red Cowgirl Boots, so this card is for her!

All pattern papers are from My Minds Eye. The boots are stamped in Caramel and Cobbler on Vanilla card stock, then cut with Spellbinders Circle Dies and layered on a Espresso Circle. The sentiment is from Kitchen Sink Stamps Multi Step Cowboy Hat. To embellish I added a Yellow star die cut and some Hemp.

Oh Nuts!

Happy Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday, thanks for stopping by, I hope you had a great weekend!  Sorry for being so late with this weeks KSS post, I was in the middle of a video using the KSS 3 Step Autumn Squirrel, and had some complications.  Anyhow, here's my card for today using Mojo Monday Sketch #256.

The image is stamped on vanilla card stock, all papers are from My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing Tangerine paper pack.  To embellish I added some Walnut Brown Vintage Seam Binding that was tied in a double bow using Becca's Peg Bow Maker, some Natural Twine and stamped acorns from the KSS 3 Step Autumn Squirrel set.

Happy Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday!  I've got another KSS Video to share with you today - this time I'm using the newly released Multi Step Teddy Bear Wishes along with the Multi Step Bunch 'o Balloons.

The images are stamped on Vanilla card stock; I cut the panel down so some of the images appear to be outside the panel, then sponged the edges and layered on a Chocolate panel.

Multi Step Classic Old Truck with Video

Happy Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday!  I'm just lovin' the new Multi Step Classic Old Truck, when  you have a house full of men, it's wonderful to have another masculine set to design with!  I thought about adding some Brown to the Blue when layering my images to resemble rusty spots on the old truck, but that will have to wait for the next inking!

The Multi Step Classic Old Truck was stamped in shades of Blue on Vanilla card stock, then I sponged the whole panel with Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and added some score marks with the Scor-Bug.  All pattern paper is from Authentique.

The above card uses images from the Multi Step Ribbons with a Cause Set.  I used the small puzzle pieces to create my own background. I cut two of the puzzle pieces and placed one on the ribbon and the other on the panel as shown using dimensionals.

Multi Step Sunflowers

Happy Wednesday, I hope you're having a good day!  Yes, another late post from me, I wanted to include a video to show you how I stamped the Multi Step Sunflowers from Kitchen Sink Stamps, and wouldn't you know it, the weather wasn't cooperating, so be sure to turn your volume up tad when you watch the video.

I used Basic Grey Basics paper in Kraft and Vanilla for my pattern paper, using a marker to add color to the Vanilla paper to coordinate with my Sunflower.  After stamping my image, I cut the panel with Spellbinders Circle Dies, then layered on a Chocolate Circle.   Added some Olive Seam Binding and a great button from the Accoutrement Line by Tim Holtz.

Today, I've created a few things to inspire you to get started on your Holiday projects. This first card uses images from Kitchen Sink Stamps Multi Step Gift, the sentiment is from Kitchen Sink Stamps Ready 4 Any Holiday set.  The gift is stamped in Burgundy and shades of blue (recipe below) after the image was stamped I used the Out of the Box technique to add a bit of interest to the image.  The Light Blue panels are embossed with the CuttleBug Snowflake folder.

Here's a quick gift box using image from Year of Thanks II.  I simply added a layer of Blue card stock and a piece of Basic Grey Figgy Pudding to cover the top of my box.  Then stamped the Snowflakes in Blue (omitting the text) and the Reindeer in Red (omitting the text) on my White panel, then cut and layered using Spellbinders Oval Dies.

My next card using images from Kitchen Sink Stamps Multi Step Pine Trees, Multi Step Ornament and Stars, and Multi Step Gift (sentiment).  You can use several shades of ink to stamp the pines, but in my video I'm going to show you how I used just one shade of Green.

The sentiment from Kitchen Sink Stamps Multi Step Ornament and Stars is stamped in Red on a White panel, cut with Spellbinders Circle Dies, then layered on Green and Red panels.  The Green background is embossed with a Texture Fades Embossing Folder.
