Thanks to those who stopped by this past week to leave comments on the various blog posts celebrating Our Daily Bread Designs Anniversary!  I appreciate your kind words!

Today, members of Our Daily Bread Designs DT are sharing new projects created with the March Release.  I love to create Patriotic cards and decided to showcase the Superstar stamp set and Double Stitched Stars Dies from the March Release along with the Filigree Frames and Lavish Layers die sets from the March Anniversary Release along with some previously released ODBD dies and paper collections.  (See supplies listed below).

After stamping the sentiment on the White panel, I die cut the panel using one of the dies from the Filigree Frames die set, then die cut the star opening using the Sparkling Stars die set, so the pattern paper from Old Glory would show through the opening.  The border around the star was created by die cutting the Sparkling Stars die and Double Stitched Stars die.  To embellish the die cut panel, I added stenciling with Navy Ink.  This Old Glory pattern paper panel is die cut with the Rectangles die set and layered on an Navy panel that was die cut using the Lavish Layers die set.
