Forever in my Heart - ODBD September New Release and Blog Hop

Welcome to the New Release post and Blog Hop showcasing projects from Our Daily Bread Designs September Release!  You can see all of the September Releases here.   Continue reading below to find out how you can win one of three $25 Gift Certificates to the ODBD Store good towards the purchase of ODBD stamps.

Today, I'm sharing two projects using the new Pet Sympathy set, Never Forgotten from the September Release along with some additional ODBD products (see product list below).

My first project is a 6" x 6" Scrapbook Page of our sweet Yellow Lab.  It's been just over a 1-1/2 since our sweet boy went over the Rainbow Bridge, not a day goes by that we don't think about him.  I still can't bear the thought of cleaning his nose prints off my car windows!

Pet Sympathy cards are just as hard for me to make as those for people.  Pets are family too, and it's so hard for us to lose them.  They provide so much joy and unconditional love!

Details:
Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Never Forgotten, Pennant Swag Alphabet
Card Stock - Black, Vanilla
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Other - Our Daily Bread Designs Custom Dies: Cats and Dogs, Pennants, Mini Tags, Beautiful Borders, Ornate Hearts, Clouds and Raindrops, Boho Background, Ink Blending Tool, Twine, Glue Dots, SAMJ, Graphic 45 Pattern Paper

My next card uses the stamps from Never Forgotten along with the Cats and Dogs Dies, I just love these new pet dies!  The larger ones allow room for sentiments, the smaller ones make adorable charms!

  3. Beautiful sentiments and dies. It is hard to make something for someone whose pet has passed. My mother has a dog and it is her life. He's her best companion. She and many others would appreciate something so beautifully made. She would agree with your thoughts on cleaning the nose marks off your window. Love that paw print and the twine with the bow.

  20. That yellow lab looks like my long lost Llee. Labs are such loving animals. This is a wonderful card to send to someone who has lost a member of their family. Also like the second one. It is less personal but still a wonderful rememberance.
