The Journey is the Start - Bloggers Challenge Reuse/Recycle

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday! Thanks to those who played along with the Holiday Cards Challenge, the challenge this week Reuse/Recycle.

My Reuse/Recycle had me digging into my Mixed Media Background panels that I save from previous Gelli Plate projects.  I've had this cute Julie Nutting Doll on my desk for a few weeks and am finally inking it up, isn't she cute!

Here's the Mixed Media panel I started with, it's a leftover print from when I created this card.  To make the panel usable and eliminate some of the white space, I cut a portion off, then adhered it over the panel and hid the seam with Tissue Tape.  I used pattern paper from Bo Bunny to paper piece the dress, and scraps of the background to paper piece the bow and shoes and stamp the sentiment.

Details:
Stamps - Prima (Julie Nutting), Ranger (Dylusions line),
Card Stock - Mixed Media, Black, Pumpkin
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Other - Bo Bunny Pattern Paper, Gelli Arts Plate, Brayer, Just a Trace Dottie Stencils, DecoArt American Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint (Flamingo/Coastal Waters/Orange Sherbet)/Deco-Page, Ink Blending Tool

Additional challenges - The Mixed Media Monday Challenge #8 (I used new stamps), The Mixed Media Card Challege #7
