Bloggers Challenge - They Say it's your Birthday!

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday! Thanks to those who played along with the Dog Days of Summer Challenge!  The challenge this week is Happy Birthday!  If you have been playing with the Bloggers Challenge over the years, you know I usually throw in this challenge when I'm in need of a Birthday card.

Yesterday our youngest turned 19, and this is the card I made for him using stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs and Cornish Heritage Farms.  (My birthday greeting is on the inside).

I started out with a background panel from my stash of pre-made Gelli Plate prints, my panel looks similar to the one below where I used Dylusions Spray on the Gelli Plate, but for this particular card the colors of the sprays were different.  I forgot to take a photo of the print before I stamped my image.

I stamped and Black embossed the image from Cornish Heritage Farms onto the printed background then cut it to size.  The top panel was stamped using Our Daily Bread Designs Fishing Net Background in Black Archival Ink on Summer Sun card stock.  I cut the opening with Spellbinders Oval Dies, so that my stamped image would should through the panel.
