Happy 4th! Bloggers Challenge - Red, White and Blue

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday! Thanks to those who played along with the Friendship Challenge!  The challenge this week is Red, White and Blue.

Inspired by the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, I created my card using stamps from the Artistic Outpost Hero plate.

I masked off the frame on the solider boy stamp from the Artistic Outpost Hero plate using Eclipse Tape, then inked the image with Ranger Black Archival Ink, stamping on a scrap piece of Bo Bunny pattern paper. All pattern paper edges are sponged with Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  I added two "fishtails" to my card using the ODBD Custom Pennants Die.  I cut all pieces using the smallest "fishtails" die from this set, then trimmed the edges of the pattern paper panels so that I could layer them onto the Black panel.  To embellish I added a Vanilla Seam Binding Bow and Red button tied with twine.

Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost Hero
Card Stock - Black
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Other -Big Shot, Spellbinders Circle Dies, Our Daily Bread Designs Custom Pennants Die, Seam Binding, Red Button, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Twine, Ink Blending Tool, Bo Bunny pattern paper
