Upright Diamond Fold - Bloggers Challenge Quotes

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday! Thanks to those who played along with last weeks Flourishes Challenge, this weeks challenge is Quotes.

I created an Upright Diamond Fold card using Top Dog Dies, My Minds Eye pattern paper and stamps from Verses Rubber Stamps.

To create the Upright Diamond Fold, I die cut the Black panel using Top Dog Dies A2 Card #4 Die (TW004), then added papers from My Minds Eye.  The sentiment is Winnie the Pooh, from Verses Rubber Stamps, stamped in Black Archival on a scrap of MME pattern paper.  To embellish I added Vintage Seam Binding, flowers from Prima and Zva Creative along with some flourishes die cut from Black card stock using Top Dog Dies Leafy Flourishes Die Set (TC016), and Pearl flourishes from Zva.  I die cut leaves for the flowers from Olive card stock using Top Dog Dies Purse Card Finishers Die Set (TC002).

Details:
Stamps - Verses Rubber Stamps
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Card Stock - Black, Olive
Other - Big Shot, Crease Pad, Ink Blending Tool, Prima Flowers, Zva Creative Mini Roses/Crystal Gems, My Minds Eye pattern Paper, Scor-Pal, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Seam Binding, Top Dog Dies A2 Card #4 Die (TW004)/Leafy Flourishes Dies Set (TC016)/Purse Card Finishers Die Set (TC002)

Challenges Entered - Ribbon Carousel #89 Love, Birthdays & Chicken Soup, Crafty Catz #213 Pretty in Pink, Crafty Hands Challenge Blog - Anything Goes, Stampotique Designers Challenge (SDC130)- Something New (my something new is the Winnie the Pooh stamp)

Tutorial for creating Upright Diamond Fold using Top Dog Dies A2 Card #4 Die (TW004)

Step 1 - Die cut card stock using Top Dog Dies A2 Card #4 Die (TW004), place crease pad between card stock and acrylic plate so that the score marks don't cut through.

Step 2 - Score on a diagonal between top and bottom score marks as shown

Step 3 - Repeat diagonal score on from other corner as shown

Step 4 - Score across center of  "x" as shown.  This will make it easier to fold your card.

Step 5 - Place card stock as shown at the 4" mark on your Scor-Pal, and score on the arrow notch as shown

Step 6 - Fold card as shown, decorate as desired

Thanks for the tutorial, Lisa! Can't wait to try this; and if I succeed, I'll teach it at my Mothers Class for a Valentine card. Haven't visited your blog in a long time, but I'm signed up as a follower now.
