Top Dog Dies Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to the Top Dog Dies Blog Hop, I'm thrilled you could join us! Today, the talented Top Dog Dies Design Team is sharing projects created with a Holiday theme. Continue reading below to find out how you can win one of two $50 Top Dog Dies eGift Cards!

I created a Christmas Card using Top Dog Dies Cherish Doilies & Tags Die Set (TC027), Leafy Flourishes Die Set (TC016) and Purse Card Finishers Die Set (TC002) along with stamps from North Coast Creations and pattern paper from Bo Bunny.

Instead of using the Purse Card Finishers Die Set (TC002), with the Purse Card (A2) Die (TW035), I used some of the elements as layers on my card.  I die cut the purse panel from Espresso card stock and again from Bo Bunny Pattern Paper. I trimmed the pattern paper panel on all sides so that I could layer it onto the Espresso panel.  I die cut the small scallop piece from this die set eight times and used it as a border under the panel.  The sentiment is from North Coast Creations Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set, stamped in Espresso on a scrap of Bo Bunny pattern paper, highlighted with markers then layered onto an Espresso panel that was die cut using the smallest doily from the Cherish Doilies & Tags Die Set (TC027).  To embellish, I added a Prima poinsettia flower, flourishes that were die cut from Hunter card stock using the Leafy Flourishes Die Set (TC016) and leaves that were die cut using the Purse Card Finishers Die Set.

Details:
Stamps - North Coast Creations
Ink - Espresso, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, Markers
Card Stock - Espresso, Vanilla, Hunter
Other - Big Shot, Top Dog Dies Purse Card Finishers Die Set (TC002)/Cherish Doilies & Tags Die Set (TC027)/Leafy Flourishes Die Set (TC016), Bo Bunny pattern paper, Ink Blending Tool, Prima Poinsettia, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Scor-Tape

Gorgeous card! I loved that you used brown - not a color you see often in holiday cards - but you made it very stylish! I like how you used the different dies to make texture and depth.
