Bloggers Challenge - Boxes with Mini Tutorial

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday! Thanks to those who played along with last weeks Doilies Challenge. This weeks challenge is Boxes.

Sorry I'm a bit late posting this weeks challenge....

My box features dies from Top Dog Dies and a sentiment from North Coast Creations

I die cut the box bottom and lid using Top Dog Dies Scallop Box Die (TW013), using Brown card stock Bo Bunny pattern paper.  To embellish the box lid, I die cut the Cherish Doilies & Tags Die (TW027) from Brown card stock, cut the die in half and added a pattern paper piece to the center. I added a stamped tag by stamping the sentiment from Let It Snow in Brown on a scrap piece of Bo Bunny pattern paper, then die cut the tag shape using the Darby Doily Tags Die Set (TC025).  The scallop fanned out piece you see added to the box was also created with this die.  I like to maximize my dies, so I've provided a mini tutorial on how I created that piece.  To further embellish, I added some Vintage Red Seam Binding and Zva Creative Crystal Gems.

Mini Tutorial using Top Dog Dies Darby Doily Tags Die Set
Supplies:
Card Stock
Scor-Pal
Top Dog Dies Darby Doily Tags Die Set
Paper Cutter
Glue Dot

Die cut shape from Brown card stock, score using Scor-Pal

Continue scoring until entire panel is scored

Use paper cutter, cut as shown

Fan Fold on the scored lines

Adhere glue dot to your project and then attach fan folded die cut panel. When I adhered the bow to the top of my box, it hid the edges of the die cut.
