I'm excited to share with you one of the projects I created using some of the new dies from Top Dog Dies! The card base is die cut from Black card stock using the scallop from Top Dog Dies Pocket Albums Die. This trio of dies is very versatile.  The die cut shapes from the Pocket Albums Die can be folded and die cut as I have done here to make a folded card base.  They can also be used to create mini albums, you can also score them in half to create small note cards, or use them as layers on your cards (which I'll be showing in other projects).  The tabbed Pocket Albums Die also makes for a cute small file folder!

To created the folded card base, I simply cut and scored the card stock, then placed the fold line of the card stock just below the cut line on the steel ruled die and ran it through my die cutting machine.

I ran the scallop from the Pocket Albums Die through my die cutting machine a second time, die cutting the scallop from Bo Bunny pattern paper, then trimmed it slightly to layer onto the base card.  To embellish, I die cut the Leafy Flourishes Die from Black card stock, reserving the cut out pieces to use as a border under the quote panel and popped up in the center of the flourish.  The mini butterflies are stamped in Black Archival on scraps of the Bo Bunny pattern paper, and adhered with glue dots. I added a few Zva Creative Crystals to the side border and to the raised center of the die cut flourish.  The quote is from Our Daily Bread Designs Friends stamp set, stamped in Black Archival on Vanilla card stock, then adhere to a Black panel and added to the base card with dimensionals.
