Bloggers Challenge - Back to School in Style

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday! Thanks to those who played along with last weeks Flower Power Challenge, I'll be around later this weekend to leave comments on your blogs! This weeks Challenge theme is Back to School.

The  local High School and Grade School kids in our area went back to school earlier this week, and our youngest starts College on Tuesday.  I'm still planning on getting the annual BTS photo by the house, even though he keeps trying to tell me "we don't need to take those any longer".

What better BTS item than a Backpack!  I used the Back Back SVG file from SVG Cuts Back to the Books SVG Kit to create my backpack, cutting the pieces with the Silhouette Cameo from Brown card stock and Bo Bunny Garden Collection pattern paper.  Before I get to the details of my project, I wanted to let you know that SVG Cuts is currently giving away a Silhouette Cameo - click here for your chance to win!

To embellish the front of my backpack, I used the Fancy Foliage Die  from Our Daily Bread Designs, along  with Our Daily Bread Designs Faith and Dreams stamp sets and Zva Creative Crystals and Mini Roses.  The butterflies are stamped in Coffee Archival on scraps of the Bo Bunny pattern paper, then die cut with the ODBD Butterfly Branch Die, cut from the branch, sponged and adhered with glue dots.

Here's the side views
