Bloggers Challenge - Pretty Packaging

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday! Thanks to those who played along with last weeks Create Your Own Background Challenge, there were a lot of fabulous entries!  There's still a handful of cards I haven't had time to leave comments on, I'll be around this weekend to catch up on those!  This weeks Challenge theme is Pretty Packaging.

For my "pretty packaging" I created a purse gift card holder using SVG Cuts Luxury Handbags SVG Kit, cutting the Clutch SVG files from a background I created using the Gelli Arts Plate, and the Small Cabin Stencil from Just a Trace.  Speaking of Just a Trace - I'm excited to have the opportunity to be designing for Libby, and will be working with these fabulous designers!

I brayered Green, Yellow and Teal Acrylic Paint onto the Gelli Arts Plate, then placed the Small Cabin Stencil over the paint, brayering to press the stencil design into the paint (similar to what you see in my tutorial here). After removing the stencil, I pressed a piece of Mixed Media card stock onto ink, then lifted my print.

Using the Silhouette Cameo, I resized the Clutch Template and cut the pieces from my Gelli Print.  I added a few offset pieces, cutting those from Black card stock for accent, and also cut the Dublin Mum from SVG Cuts 3D Mums and Fall Flowers Kit to add as an embellishment.

Details:
Card Stock - Mixed Media Paper, Black
Ink - Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Other - Silhouette Cameo, Scor-Pal/Scor-Tape, Brads, Brayer, Acrylic Paint (Green, Yellow, Teal), Gelli Arts Plate, Just a Trace Small Cabin Stencil, SVG Cuts 3D Mums and Fall Flowers Kit, SVG Cuts Luxury Handbags Kit, Ink Blending Tool
