Hello friends! I was beginning to think I left my muse up at that lake last week while we were on vacation! What better way to jump start creativity, than by creating a Mixed Media piece using the Gelli Arts Plate!
The background was created with Blue, Orange, Green and Yellow Acrylic Paints, a Prima Stencil, Mixed Media Paper and the 8" x 10" Gelli Arts Plate. I just recently started using the Mixed Media paper for my Gelli Prints, and I just LOVE it! Once the background was dry, I used Gesso on a portion of the stencil and added layers to the background. I also dipped a bottle top into Gesso to add the circles.
The doll and scallop edge stamps are from Prima. I stamped the doll onto Prima Pattern Paper, cut her out, then paper pieced here with papers from the Bo Bunny Garden Collection, adding bits of color using STAEDTLER Karat Aquarell Watercolor Pencils. The text is a Dylusions stamp from Ranger.
Details:
Stamps - Prima, Dylusions
Card Stock - Black, Pumpkin, Mixed Media Paper
Ink - Black, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Other - Bo Bunny Garden Collection, Prima pattern paper, Gesso, Gelli Arts Plate, Brayer, Matte Medium, Prima Stencil, Staedtler Karat Aquarell Watercolor Pencils
Thanks for stopping by, I'll see you tomorrow for Friday's Bloggers Challenge!
