Beautiful Silhouettes - North Coast Creatiions June Release

This month North Coast Creations is releasing 3 beautiful Silhouette stamp sets - Find Beauty, Heaven's Masterpiece and  Something Marvelous.  Continue reading below to find out how you can win one of two North Coast Creations $10 Gift Certificates good towards the purchase of NCC Stamps.

I have two cards to share with you today using this months release.  For this first card, I used the silhouette flowers and Get Well Soon text from North Coast Creations Heaven's Masterpiece stamp set.  The small butterfly is from Our Daily Bread Designs Stamped by Butterfly Mini.

The silhouette flowers were stamped in Saffron on White card stock; the text in Black Archival, then die cut/embossed with Spellbinders Petite Oval Dies, and layered on a Black Oval.  All pattern paper is from the Authentique Renew Collection, the border is from Our Daily Bread Designs Antique Labels and Border Die, cut from Black card stock.  To embellish I added Black Seam Binding tied in a Double Bow using Becca's Peg Bow Maker, Black Pearls from Zva Creative, and the butterfly from ODBD's Hand Stamped Butterfly Mini.

Details:
Stamps - North Coast Creations Heaven's Masterpiece, Our Daily Bread Designs Stamped by Butterfly Mini
Card Stock - Black, White, Saffron
Ink - Saffron, Black, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Other - Big Shot, Spellbinder Petite Oval Dies, Authentique Renew Collection, Dimensionals, Zva Creative Jet Black Crystal Flourish, Becca's Peg Bow Maker, Black Seam Binding, Ink Blending Tool

For my next card I created a Mixed Media card using the silhouette stamp from North Coast Creations Find Beauty, and the text from Heaven's Masterpiece.

I started out by creating the background with Acrylic Paints, a Prima Stencil and the Gelli Arts Plate.  Once the background was dry, I black embossed the flowers and text, then die cut the text from the panel using Spellbinders Petite Oval Dies, layering the text onto a Black Oval.
