A Bit of Americana - Artistic Outpost June DT Blog Hop

Welcome to the Artistic Outpost Design Team Blog Hop! Each month, the fabulous designers at Artistic Outpost showcase projects created with various Artistic Outpost Plates/Themes, this months DT Blog Hop theme is Americana.

I used the sweet little solider from the Artistic Outpost Hero plate, stamping the image in Black Archival on White card stock, then coloring with STAEDTLER Karat Aquarell Watercolor Pencils.

So retro with a wonderful nostalgic feel to it. It doesn't get more Americana than that sweet image. Love the way you have colored it and your designer papers are so perfect for this wonderful vintage piece.

This is so sweet - love that little fella! Also, I really like that your red, white & blue are skewed a bit from the traditional bright red & navy - like that softer look.
