Children's Books - AO DT Blog Hop

Welcome to the Artistic Outpost Design Team Blog Hop! Each month, the fabulous designers at Artistic Outpost showcase projects created with various Artistic Outpost Plates/Themes, this months DT Blog Hop focus is Literature or Children's Books.

I used stamps from the Artistic Outpost Alice and Wonderland and Auld Lange Syne to create my Mixed Media card.

Mixed Media - Stamps Artistic Outpost

The background was created with Acrylic Paints (Green, Yellow, Teal), the Gelli Arts Plate and the clock Texture Fades Folder.  I pressed the embossing folder onto my Gelli Plate then added a piece of card stock brayered over it to pick up the color.  Once dry I embossed the panel with the embossing folder, and applied Gesso over the numbers.  The image and sentiment are stamped on Tissue Paper, then adhered in place with Gel Medium.

Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost Alice in Wonderland, Auld Lange Syne
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Card Stock - Green, Black
Other - Tissue Paper, STAEDTLER Karat Aquarell WC Pencils, Gel Medium, Paint Brush, Embossing Folder, Gesso, Big Shot
