Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday, can you believe this is out 300th Challenge! Thanks to those who played along with last weeks Color Challenge, I loved seeing the different ways everyone used the colors. This weeks Challenge is a Sketch Challenge. Feel free to rotate the sketch, or swap out the shapes.
Inspired by the sketch, I used stamps from Stampotique (girls), Verses (quote) and Art Gone Wild (background), along with My Minds Eye Portobello Road pattern paper.
I stamped the Romance in the Air Background stamp in Caramel on the larger pattern paper panel, then used the Omitting Technique to only stamp a portion of the quote. The sweet girls are also stamped on a pattern paper, then cut so a portion of the image is slightly Out of the Box. All pieces are sponged with Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. To embellish I added a Typewrite Charm and Blue Peacock Vintage Seam Binding that was crumpled and tied into a Double Bow.
Details:
Stamps - Stampotique, Verses, Art Gone Wild
Ink - Ranger Black Archival/Distress Ink Gathered Twigs, Caramel
Card Stock - Black, Bermuda Breeze
Other - Ink Blending Tool, Dimensionals, Glue Dot, Typewriter Charm, Blue Peacock Vintage Seam Binding, Black Twine
Here's this weeks Sketch
Have a great weekend !
