Christmas Days 2012 with Creations by AR - Day 8

Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Sparkling Snowflakes, Snowflake Background, Snowflake Sentiments, Snowflake Mini Set, ODBD Custom Snowflake Die. Onrament Template from Creations by AR cut with the Silhouette Cameo

It's all about Christmas Packaging! From December 6th -15th,  the Creations by AR Design Team is sharing ideas for presenting holiday gifts using templates from Creations by AR! Be sure to join us daily on the Creations by AR FaceBook Page or at our group page on Paper Craft Planet.  Continue reading below, to see how you can enter to win one of the Daily Prize Giveaways and also the Grand Prize Giveaway.

My project uses the Ornament Box Template.  This template comes in two sizes, I used the Small Ornament Box on all three of my projects, with all pieces being cut with the Silhouette. The finished size is 4" x 3-3/4", and is perfect for giving Gift Cards or small treats.

I wanted to add some additional layers to the ornament pieces, to do this I used the Silhouette Designer Studio Software to create Offsets.  I created an offset to add the Chocolate and Hunter panels, and  Internal Offsets for the Ornament Hanger piece and band that runs across the ornament.  All projects use stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs .

Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Snowflake Background, Warm Wishes, Sparkling Snowflakes. Ornament Box Template from Creations by AR cut with the Silhouette
All images are stamped in Chocolate.  The Snowflake Background was used on the Ornament panel, Warm Wishes for the Sentiment and Sparkling Snowflakes for the Snowflake embellie and stamped tissue paper.  The Snowflake was die cut using Our Daily Bread Designs Snowflake Die, I created the larger Chocolate offset die using the Silhouette Designer Studio.  To further embellish I added some Zva Creative Crystal Gems.

Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Snowflake Background, Sparkling Snowflakes, ODBD Custom Snowflake Die. Ornament Box Template from Creations by AR. Pattern Paper - Bo Bunny Rejoice Collection
For this Ornament Box, I used pattern paper from the Bo Bunny Rejoice Collection.  All images are stamped in Hunter Ink on Vanilla. The Snowflake Background  was stamped to embellish the band.  The Sparkling Snowflake stamps were die cut using the ODBD Custom Snowflake Die.  Again, I created offsets with the Silhouette, cutting from Hunter card stock to layer under the die cut snowflakes. To embellish, I added Zva Creative Crystal Gems to the pattern paper and snowflakes.

Ink - Hunter, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Card Stock - Cobbler, Hunter, Vanilla

Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Snowflake Background, Mini Snowflake Set, Snowflake Sentiments. Ornament Box Template from Creations by AR cut with the Silhouette Cameo
For the Ornament Box, I embossed the Vanilla layer using the Sizzix Snowflake Embossing Folder.  The sentiment is from  Snowflake Sentiments, stamped in Chocolate.  The small snowflakes are from the Snowflake Mini Set.  There are no dies for this snowflake, so I created one for both the image and the offset using the Silhouette Designer Studio Software.  I stamped the Snowflake Background on the tissue paper.  The centers of the snowflakes are embellished with Zva Creative Crystal Gems.

The boxes are super cute, but I am most impressed that you stamped your tissue paper. Genius! I would like to say I will never buy decorative tissue paper ever again, but we'll just have to see if I remember your little trick next time I'm in need of some coordinating tissue paper. Thanks so much for sharing.
