12 tags of 2012 - August

I'm glad to be back playing along with the 12 tags of 2012, I skipped the July tag, as so many of my pieces kept hitting the trash can, I thought it was best. Inspired by Tim's Tag for August, I totally improvised, not having much of the product on hand that he used on his tag.

The beautiful Flower Oval Frame (NC24) is from North Coast Creations, stamped and Black embossed on the manilla tag, then colored with Nibs and Ranger Distress Inks (both Summer and Spring Seasonal Inks were used).  Currently the NCC Website is not up and running, but orders can be placed by calling 1-877-451-4909.  The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs Faithful Friend set. 

Following along with Tim's directions I used portions of an embossing folder (Tim Holtz Alterations Fancy and Floral Frames), then added the paint and inks, per his directions.  I used an On the Edge Die to cut the bottom portion.  To embellish I added some Prima Doodle Deux Charm Rose Flowers, Vintage Walnut Seam Binding, Charms and a Stick Pin.
