Christmas in July - Bloggers Challenge

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday! Thanks to those who played along with last weeks Die Cut Challenge, it was wonderful to see so many beautiful entries! This weeks Challenge theme is Christmas in July.

I'm hoping to work on a few cards a month, so that I'm not rushing like a mad woman in December trying to create my Holiday cards!  Inspired by this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch, here's my card for the challenge using the images from the newly released MidWinter plate from Artistic Outpost.

Artistic Outpost stamps MidWinter, pattern paper Basic Grey www.lisasomerville.com

The image is stamped in Ranger Black Archival on Vanilla, colored with STAEDTLER Karat Aquarell Watercolor Pencils, then die cut with Spellbinders Circle Dies and layered on a Black panel.  I added clouds to the background using Ranger Distress Ink, sponging around a scallop edge.

Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost MidWinter
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Card Stock - Vanilla, Black, Cherry Cobbler
Other - Big Shot, Spellbinders Circle Dies, Ink Blending Tool, Staedtler Karat Aquarell Watercolor Crayons, Basic Grey Pattern Paper
