For the Graduate - Bloggers Challenge

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday!  Thanks so much to those who played along with last weeks Oh Baby! Challenge. This weeks challenge is Graduation.  Our oldest graduates from High School on May 31, seems like just yesterday we were sending him off to Kindergarten!  I'm looking forward to seeing your entries!

If you stopped by yesterday, I mentioned I created some backgrounds using the Gelli Arts Plate.  This is one of the panels I created by pressing some Canvas Mistables, and the Honeycomb Background into the Acrylic Paint on the Gelli Arts Plate.  The quote and "you did it" are from Our Daily Bread Designs Dreams set.  After stamping the quote on my panel, I die cut it using ODBD Elegant Oval Die, then traced the die on Black card stock and cut it out to layer underneath the stamped panel.  To embellish I added a Seam Binding Bow, Zva Creative Flourishes and a Zva Creative Mini Rose, that I sponged with Chilli Powder Ink.

Incase you were wondering, no this isn't the card I'm giving to my son - this one will probably end up for my niece!

Details:
Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Dreams, Honeycomb
Ink - Ranger Black Archival
Card Stock - Black, White, Watercolor
Other - Zva Creative Flourishes/Mini Rose, Glue Dots, Prima Distress Tool, ODBD Elegant Ovals Die, Big Shot, Acrylic Paints, Gelli Arts Plate, Mistables
