Bloggers Challenge - Celebrating Mom (or Grandma, Sister, Aunt)

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday!  Thanks so much to those who played along with last weeks challenge to create your own background, it was wonderful to see so many cool background techniques!  With Mother's Day next week, this weeks challenge is Celebrating Mom (or Grandma, Sister, Aunt), or if you want to get pretty basic - Celebrating Women!

I took the CAS and QUICK approach to creating my challenge card, using the Crocheted Poppy and Poppy sets from Our Daily Bread Designs.

After stamping and die cutting the Crocheted Poppy image, I stamped it a 2nd time on Pink card stock, then cut out the floral image and popped them up, and added a bit of green to the leaves with Staedtler Karat Aquareall Watercolor pencils.

If you'd like to play along with this weeks Bloggers Challenge, please link back to this post on your blog and mention you created your card for the Bloggers Challnge Celebrating Mom Challenge. Please add your link using the Link Tool below, your link should be a direct link to your Bloggers Challenge Post, use your name as the Title. Please do not link to cards that were created prior to the challenge date. Entries not linking properly, or backlinked will be removed.  If you have the captcha enabled on your blog, please consider turning it off, as it makes it so much easier to leave comments

Have a great weekend!
