For my Friend...12 tags of 2012 - March

Ever have one of those days....a day with no Internet, and I was going through withdrawals!   I had a post ready, but didn't have  it scheduled, that will teach me!

My tag was inspired by Tim's 12 Tags of 2012 for March.  I'm so glad he is going the tags monthly now, instead of 12 days in a row in December, it sure makes it easier to keep up!  Not having all the product that Tim used, I improvised!  The woodgrain is actually an Embossing Folder, the raised part highlighted with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. For the Mosaic Butterflies, I used Our Daily Bread Designs Grunge Butterfly Die, cutting from scrap card stock that was covered in Scor-Tape, then followed Tim's directions using My Minds Eye Pattern Paper, and Ranger Tinsel Embossing Powders.  To embellish the tag, I stamped the quote from Faithful Friend in Coffee on a scrap of MME paper, punched with the Spiral punch, then layered on Chocolate and another scrap of MME Paper/Chocolate card stock, then to the tag with dimensionals.  I added some Zva Creative Flourish Gems, and a Rolled Rose (Silhouette store pattern) that was cut from Saffron card stock using the Silhouette Cameo.

Details:
Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Faithful Friend
Ink - Ranger Distress Ink Walnut Stain, Antique Paper, Ranger Coffee Archival
Card Stock - Kraft, Chocolate, Garden Green
Other - Spiral Punch, Zva Creative Flourish Gems, Dimensionals, Silhouette Cameo, Seam Binding, Glossy Accents, Heat Gun, Tinsel Embossing Power, Sponge Dauber, Prima Distress Tool, Non Stick Craft Sheet, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Our Daily Bread Designs Grunge Butterfly Die, Spellbinders Die

  12. Lisa, this is a gorgeous tag. I love everything about it, from the bright cheery flower to the stained wood grain, the butterflies came out beautifully, and I just love the sentiment! This tag really goes together so nicely. I'm curious, are you storing all of your tags together, adding them to cards, making book marks out of them? Just curious.
