Studio Reorganization

A few weeks ago when I went down to visit my mom she had a cool hanging thing for her markers that she purchased from IKEA, I told her I NEEDED that for my studio.  So of course last week on my way home from my crafty day with Sue, I just had to stop and see what the store (not so near to me) carried in the way of organization for my supplies.  Let me just tell you I could spend hours in there looking at things and getting ideas.  I made my way to the Kitchen Section and found some cool hanging things to not only hold my markers but my 6" x 6" papers and Embossing Folders.

Here's the after

As you can see my 6" x 6" is full, I'd like to add dividers to separate the paper companies, but that will have to wait until I finish cleaning and purging some unused stuff!  The enamel bucket houses some of my Staedtler coloring mediums, and the smaller basket houses Embossing Folders, and things I used often like the Bow Easy, Mat Pack and Glue Sticks.  I also added a chain to the bottom so I could easily store my Scor-Tape.

Here's a view another view of the other hanging buckets

This helped me free up some of the space the is in front of my stamp area.  In the large enamel basket, I added two smaller pails.  These not only help keep the markers upright, but each holds product that I use on a daily basis.  The two handing pails on the end (from my stash) also hold product - the one on the left holds my dimensionals, the one on the right holds Spica Pens and a few Copic Markers.  On the hanging hooks I was able to add my ring of Distress Tools and Scor-Bug so they'd be within easy reach. The White basket houses my Acrylic Blocks, in the Blue Bag, I put my go to inks (Ranger Archival Inks) that I use on a daily basis.

I still need to clean off the counter next to this station and go through the cabinets and remove things that aren't getting used as often as they should.  Hopefully I'll find a good home for them!  In the process of organizing I did find that the Umbrella Man ran away with the Old Jalopy!  I'm hoping those two ATC Folders turn up somewhere!

Anyone want to come and create?

That is what I have been working on! I told myself that I could not play until I cleaned up everything and somehow got a little organized. I may never play again! Well I hope you find the missing folders! If you go and buy them again, for sure they will show up!
