So Thankful

Happy Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday!  Did you enjoy the extra hour in your Sunday?  I took advantage and slept in, but I do have to tell you that the time change always throws off dinner for the first week or so, as my family was ready to eat well before dinner time! I made some snacks to hold them over until dinner, but they ate so much that no one had room for dinner!  Lucky me, know there's less prep to do for tonight's dinner!

As I looked out my window a few days ago, the trees were filled with many colorful leaves, over the weekend it was so windy, that the majority of trees have all lost their leaves.  Inspired by the falling leaves and Unscripted Sketch 131, I created today's card using Kitchen Sink Stamps Multi Step Big Leaves and 3 Step Turkey Trot (sentiment), inking the images with Ranger Distress Inks.

I wanted a softer look with the Distress Inks, so I made sure to stamp off each inked image before stamping onto the Vanilla panel.  I'm thrilled with the look, and just love the new Seasonal Distress Inks!  To embellish I added some Seam Binding dyed with Ranger Distress Stain (Walnut Stain), and a Faux Button, I created with some Chipboard, Button Sizzlit and Rock Candy Crackle Paint.

Details:
Stamps - Kitchen Sink Stamps Multi Step Big Leaves, 3 Step Turkey Trot
Ink - Ranger Distress Ink Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Festive Berries, Evergreen Bough, Iced Spruce, Gathered Twigs, Dried Marigold, Crushed Olive
