Artistic Outpost Takes Flight - Chunky ATC

I'm excited to share one of my creations using Artistic Outpost's newest release, French Flight.  This new collection pays homage to the adventurers of the late 1700's,  it's fun and quirky, with a little bit of steampunk thrown in for good measure. This collection is now available at Artistic Outpost, in both unmounted rubber  or pre-mounted on EZMount cling foam.

I've often admired the wonderful Chunky ATC's made by other friends and designers and thought it would be fun to give it a try with the images from French Flight.  I started by covering the edges of the block with Tissue Tape, that way if my pattern paper edges didn't line up the wood wouldn't show through.  Then I stamped the images from French Flight in Black Archival on Bo Bunny Et Cetera and Timepiece pattern papers, adhering the panels to the block with a Glue Stick.  To embellish I add a bunch of different trinkets and pieces from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology line.  I'll definitely be creating more of these!
